As Salaamu 'aleykum
These powers are given to us by Allah (s.w.a), and those who are been given, are the chosen ones and not some/ any random person. These people are selected for one or the other power, for a reason, however, they could as well be un-aware of these powers or as well misuse them in a wrong way.
At first, we need to understand that there are many levels to the blessings of Allah (s.w.a), and this is what most of the people get confused about. Everything has its own level, nothing can survive without having a level.
Yes, Allah (s.w.a) never denies of His (s.w.a) blessings to His (s.w.a) creatures. But only if there's a GREAT SACRIFICE, only then one can archieve these powers.
Power of Imam Khomeini, Ayatullah Behjat (Masha'Allah, what a feeling when you pray behind him. Very powerful creature!), Ayatullah Marashi Najafi and the rest have a GREAT POWER to where we normal beings can't archieve them unless we become like them. It takes years to practice! It isn't a joke so don't even start comparing.
Having the ability to feel things, see things, and etc. is a different type of blessing from Allah (s.w.a). And it goes on...

salams,
those who want, surely he/she can achieve it,but as u said..choosen people
only can be in that state.The choosen people willingly sacrfice everything just for Allah.They purified any worldly desires from their heart and fill it with Allah's desire upon them.And.what they are carrying is the light of Allah(swt).Which the mountains and the skies cant bear it when Allah put His light on "their shoulder".

As Salaamun 'aleykum
Al hamdulillah, we thank Allah (s.w.a), the Lord of the mankind, the most Powerful, the all Seeing, the Giver, the Ar Rahmaan and the Ar Rahim for his 'Ilm and Taqwa to His (s.w.a) creatures.
I am nothing. I'm just a fakeer.
Praise Allah (s.w.a) with your heart torn apart and hear Him (s.w.a) speak to you the Words of Purity and Great Powers.
Love Allah (s.w.a) like you have loved nothing before. Give Him (s.w.a) your life, and sacrifice every single atom of its creation to His (s.w.a) love, and see what blessings fall upon you.
Leave this World. Close all the gates and hate everything about anything and everything that talks against His (s.w.a) existence - Bring upon His (s.w.a) existence in your heart, and fill you life with His (s.w.a) Asmaaul Husna.
Think, speak, eat, walk, sleep, dream and do everything just by remembering Him (s.w.a) and shade a few tears for His (s.w.a) mercy and love towards us - we who are the sinners and the problem makers.
Can't you see Allah (s.w.a) everywhere? Subhana'Allah! What a feeling there is when you turn your face and see Allah (s.w.a), Allah (s.w.a) and only Allah (s.w.a).
Don't believe me, don't agree to me, don't even listen to me as I'm nothing but a sinner. I have failed so many times on His (s.w.a) pure path. Feel it, practice it, hear it, express it and touch it for yourself. Allah (s.w.a) is no where except in your heart. Think, just think for a moment who Allah (S.w.a) is. Allah (s.w.a) will raise you from what you are if you only shade a few tears just in His (s.w.a) love.
Love - We only have the rights to love Him (s.w.a). Love? Nobody can love you the way He (s.w.a) loves His (s.w.a) creatures.
Allah (s.w.a) is to how I think, how I feel, how I move, how I speak, how I sleep... what can I do without Him (s.w.a)? Feel Allah (s.w.a) and believe in Him (s.w.a), that's the only way one can understand what Allah (s.w.a) is.
Allah (s.w.a) will give it to you if you only ask for it.

I have not a single movement in my body that happens without His (s.w.a) love.
If you fill a day with Pure Love for Him (s.w.a), if you fill a month with Sacrifices for Him (s.w.a), or even if you fill a year with your tears for Him (s.w.a) - You would not have got even a mini micro second closer to the amount of Love He (s.w.a) has for His (s.w.a) creatures.

Allah (s.w.a)? I wish we had come to understand what the word Allah (s.w.a) itself stands for! Even the Alif of Allah (s.w.a) has so much Nur that a person can become blind in a distance of his life time.
Touch Qur'an with understanding its importance - You will only then wake up from a deep sleep.
Allah (s.w.a) gives what not to His (s.w.a) creatures? Do these creatures then appreciate?
Struggle against your Nafs and see what you don't see to which you want to.
To get a certificate, you need to study a few papers - To get a diploma, a few exams - To get a Degree, work hard - Masters, a few extra years - As further you go, the more you work hard - But if you want His (s.w.a) strict blessings, veil all parts of your Nafs and cover them forever for His (s.w.a) sake, and that's when He (s.w.a) shall decide to reveal the secrets of the unseen.
Start with a great sacrifice! Leave all the Worldly affairs, strict yourself from every laughter, practice the higher standards of Islam and put yourself into such a situation where people start calling you with names such as "truly in love with his God (s.w.a)! Be very strict and pure hearted, clean intentions and seeking Allah's (s.w.a) help at all times. Guide others to the right path and observe Hijaab (men and women). Stop the corruption and never take part in anything that's against Islam and its teachings. Direct your soul, nafs, imaan and your life to only Him (s.w.a) and nothing else. Struggle and become a normal person. Search for the truth and READ the Holy Scriptures. Give maximum love to Allah (s.w.a). Ah... I love Allah (s.w.a), I love Him (s.w.a) and I dedicate my life to Him (s.w.a).
Love? How could I have defined the word Love if I didn't know Allah (s.w.a)?
